This year, I’m thrilled to represent Data Intensity and share the stage with two of our amazing customers, showcasing real-world examples of successful digital transformation. These are not just theories; these are proof points of how strategic cloud migration and platform consolidation drive measurable business outcomes.

At its core, digital transformation is about enabling better business performance. Our customer-led sessions at Oracle AI World detail how they navigated complexity to achieve major wins with the power of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle ERP.
1. Oceaneering’s Cloud Transformation — “Charting a New Course: How Oceaneering Navigated to Oracle Cloud [THR3768]”
Oceaneering, a global leader in engineered services for offshore energy, was initially planning a “lift-and-shift” migration of its PeopleSoft environment to their preferred hyperscaler. However, a deep dive into the Total Cost of Ownership Transformation Assessment (TCOT) with Data Intensity revealed a more strategic and cost-effective path.
- The Key Insight: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) was the clear winner, projected to reduce costs by over 40% over five years compared to the initial plan.
- The Outcome: We partnered with Oceaneering to execute a seamless, low-risk migration, validating performance and integrating security tools all without incident. This session, featuring Oceaneering’s Sr. Enterprise App Admin and DBA Manager, Jonathan Chern, is a must-attend for anyone looking for a cost-effective, secure, and high-performance cloud transformation.
2. Global Payments Unifies Its ERP Footprint — “Scaling Securely: Unifying Multiple ERP Systems and More with Oracle Cloud [LRN3837]”
Global Payments, a global fintech leader, was grappling with mounting complexity resulting from rapid growth and acquisitions, which led to fragmented ERP systems, manual processes, and increased compliance risks.
- The Strategy: Data Intensity helped them adopt a cloud-first strategy, consolidating and integrating their Oracle ERP systems using Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Integration Cloud.
- The Outcome: The consolidation enabled scalable growth, improved visibility, and ensured regulatory compliance. I’ll be joining Seshu Maringanti from Data Intensity and Jessie Nord from Global Payments to explore actionable insights for IT leaders on achieving scalable, secure growth through smart integration. This session is a must-attend and bring all your questions. The PowerPoint part is tiny; we will spend a lot of time discussing the practical aspects.

While I’m excited to share our customers’ successes, I’m equally eager to hear the vision from Oracle’s leadership.
I am particularly looking forward to Larry Ellison’s keynote to hear his latest bold announcements and a deep dive into Oracle’s strategy for practical AI adoption across the enterprise. Furthermore, I look forward to gaining a fresh perspective from the new co-CEOs, Clay Magouyrk and Mike Sicilia. Their combined expertise in OCI and Industry Applications makes their shared vision for the AI era an absolute must-see. While I’ll miss Safra Catz’s customer-focused talk this year, her new role as Executive Vice Chair ensures her guidance will continue to shape the company’s direction, and I’m ready to welcome the new leadership era.
