Session 1
Zero Downtime Architecture: Hitting Sub-Hour RTO with OCI Disaster Recovery
Discover how to architect and implement enterprise-grade disaster recovery solutions for your critical applications on OCI that deliver aggressive Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) using Full Stack Disaster Recovery (FSDR).
This session provides a comprehensive deep dive into proven reference architectures for both Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS) and Base Database Systems, demonstrating how OCI’s native replication and orchestration capabilities enable automated business continuity.
Attendees will learn how to configure end-to-end DR automation, leverage FSDR’s built-in orchestration for complex multi-tier application stacks, and establish repeatable testing procedures to validate DR readiness without impacting production operations.
Date: Thursday, March 26
Time: 9:30 am – 10:15 am
Location: Room 226
Session 10
From SQL to Natural Language: Safely Connecting Oracle Databases to AI Agents
Artificial Intelligence is transforming how we interact with data, but enterprise databases have remained largely disconnected from this revolutionโuntil now.
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) represents a paradigm shift, enabling AI assistants to directly query, analyze, and interpret databases through natural language while maintaining enterprise-grade security.
Oracle has embraced this by embedding an MCP Server directly into SQLcl, transforming the command line into a highly auditable, AI-ready endpoint for your database.
This session provides a practical, real-world guide on using the SQLcl MCP Server to let developers and DBAs execute complex tasksโfrom generating natural language reports to deep performance tuning with AWRโusing simple chat prompts.
Date: Friday, March 27
Time: 1:30 pm – 2:15 pm
Location: Room 220
Session 11
Leveraging the Vector Database & AI Panel
This customer panel will feature Oracle customers and experts discussing the impact of AI on their businesses. The discussion will cover practical applications of vector search and vector databases and how they can positively affect business outcomes. Panelists will also address the benefits and challenges of these new Oracle innovations. Rich will host the panel and lead an in-depth conversation with participants who have extensive experience working with AI.

Building ETL with Data Transforms in Always Free ADW
Data Transforms is a new ETL tool built directly into Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, including the Always Free tier.
It enables you to design end-to-end data pipelines right in your browser, without installing additional tools or writing extensive code.
In this session, Iโll provide an overview of the Data Transforms interface and key features, then walk through several practical use cases – such as loading files, joining and cleaning data, and preparing star schemas for reporting.
The live demo will highlight how to design, run, and monitor flows, and show where Data Transforms fits within the broader landscape of traditional ETL tools.
Date: Friday, March 27
Time: 10:15 am – 11:00 am
