Data Intensity Oracle experts Biju Thomas and Paul Buckley earned a Top 10 of 2021 ranking by the Oracle Applications & Technology Users Group (OATUG) for attendance of their presentation, “Oracle E-Business Suite on Azure Platform: Migration to Management.”

IT organizations are expected to expand services and meet tighter SLAs, often with fewer resources, staff, and internal skills. In their expert presentation, “Oracle E-Business Suite on Azure Platform: Migration to Management,” Oracle ACE Director and Global Oracle Practice Lead Biju Thomas and Software License Solutions Vice President Paul Buckley outline the steps needed to estimate Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) workload capacity requirements and Azure platform size.

Biju and Paul explain high availability architecture options without using third-party cluster solutions, use of cloud-native technologies such as Azure Backups and Azure Site Recovery for business continuity instead of traditional on-premises tools, and the license impact when migrating workloads to Azure or to any cloud.
