Senior Hyperion HFM Consultant

Position Summary

Senior HFM Consultant (India), has overall responsibility for providing Technical and Functional support and project management to a large and diverse BI customer base. He/she will manage project initiatives, functional and technical enhancements and act a liaison between business users and internal as well as external team members and the customer. This role includes quoting and pricing, project management, solution architecture, Techno-Functional Lead, training, seeking continuous improvement in the BI Team offering and use of Application Implementation Methodology. One component of the role is to identify process improvements and work with the business partners to effectively scope and implement system changes. This person will serve as a HFM Senior Consultant and will work with the appropriate people, processes and tools to achieve successful functional solutions for business requirements in our customer’s complex application environments.

Position Responsibilities

As a Senior HFM Consultant, the primary responsibility of the position will be support of the full lifecycle of a Hyperion Financial Management support and implementation including designing, architecting, developing, testing, and deployment.

Need to be highly motivated and exceed client expectations.

  •   Strong HFM, FCCS, FDMEE and DRM skills
  •   Experience of Migrating FDM to FDMEE
  •   Experience of Migrating EPMA to DRM
  •   Experience of migratinf HFM to FCCS
  •   Experience with Hyperion Upgrade
  •   Ability to work indepedently and think outside of box
  •   Excellent customer facing skills, communications, writing and a team player
  •   Client management, resource management and status reporting
  •   Documentation of support activities related to customers
  •   Provide guidance on resolving technical and functional issues
  • Desired Experience and Skills

    •   Implementation Certified in Oracle/Hyperion HFM version 11.1.2.4
    •   Strong experience in writing and maintain clear, concise functional and technical specifications on HFM applications and business system processes. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
    •   6+ years of experience working with HFM
    •   3+ years of consulting experience
    •   Experience in Optimization of HFM applications
    •   Ability to develop, implement and maintain HFM, FDM and FDMEE modules and business process flows
    •   Excellent functional background including finance and accounting experience
    •   Strong understanding of Corporate month end close and consolidation process and actual corporate reporting requirements
    •   Strong experience in developing and maintaining FDM mappings and validation rules
    •   Ability to research application and service logs to troubleshoot application issues
    •   Coordinate issue resolution with internal and external technical support providers
    •   Proven skills as a team member, team lead or project manager on at least one full life cycle implementation
    •   A proven resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
    •   Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements
    •   Willingness to mentor junior staff
    •   Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    •   Ability to collaborate with clients
