Oracle Cloud Financials Technical Consultant

Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Sr. Principal Consultant and, the Oracle Cloud ERP Financials technical Consultant has overall responsibility for the implementation and the related documentation of this project deployment. The role’s focus is to participate in all phases of software support and development in relation to Oracle Cloud extensions, Interfaces, User Interfaces, Integrations and Reports related to AP, AR, GL, & FA. This person will effectively and efficiently be implementing business requirements. This person will serve as a consultant.

The person will actively participate in the project initiatives and technical enhancements. The person will submit and manage Oracle Service Requests, prepare the documents in accordance of the customer’s development life cycles and change control processes. This role includes support of Oracle Financial models and their data interaction with other modules.

Position Responsibilities

Provide routine day-to-day operational support, including but not limited to:

  •   Work with onsite team members as Oracle Cloud Financials functional/technical consultant
  •   Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
  •   Analyze business requirements and perform Fit-Gap analysis
  •   Active participation in preparing various project documents – Solution design, Technical Design Specifications, Migration Documents and SIT-UAT Support
  •   Explain the technical flow to other team members in the project
  •   Works closely with users during user acceptance testing phase
  •   Technical/Functional Skills:
    •   Oracle ERP Cloud experience in at least one or more of these modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management and Cash Management
    •   Experience as a resource in the implementation lifecycle of at least 1 Oracle ERP Cloud project and Supporting Oracle Cloud ERP

Requirements

Education

  •   Bachelor/Master’s degree or relevant career experience

Knowledge

  •   Implementation knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials Modules

  •   Experience in integrating ERP could with other systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)/ SOA and Web Services
  •   Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud data conversion
  •   Experience in creation of BI Publisher Reports; FRS (financial reporting studio) Reports and OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) reports in Oracle Cloud environment
  •   Ability to take initiative to communicate, interact, and collaborate with others to ensure that all aspects of a task are addressed
  •   Self-driven, motivated, Pro-active, well organized and a thorough planner
  •   Highly skilled at problem-solving & highly developed analytical skills
  •   Post-production support for resolution of day to day client issues

Requirements

  •   Must have experience as a technical consultant in Oracle financial cloud environment
  •   Must have minimum 2-5 years prior year of technical experience with Oracle EBS RICEW development
  •   Experience in full life-cycle project including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Roll-out and post production support
  •   Experience in understanding business requirements and design technical deliverables
