Migrating to Oracle Exadata 
10/4/2011 

In this session, we will demonstrate case studies from several customers on the process of migrating and consolidating E-Business Suite, Oracle Business Intelligence, SOA, and Agile environments on a single database platform by migrating from commodity hardware to Oracle Exadata. We will review the process for sizing the Exadata environment and building a business case, installing and configuring the Exadata device, the migration process for each software application, and the relative performance improvements that were gained from migrating to the platform. We will also discuss ongoing maintenance of Exadata as well as implications for maintenance and cloning of the software environments.
